I’m so excited about this. It’s not just a novel, it’s a novel plus, meaning it’s kind of long because, you know, writing sexy bits and describing costumes takes a lot of words. Also, we explored the themes of coming out in the media, romance in the spotlight, and the evolution and changing of the music industry.
As with most things I write, there is a bit of political undertone. It’s a fantasy, of course, but I hope it makes people think.
And, you know, if you’re going to be protesting the TSA this week by refusing scanning and getting patted down, this will not only give you something to pass the time, but maybe make the groping more fun.

I read your book and I loved it so much so I just had to find somewhere to tell you two about it, so here I am 😉 So yeah I bought Black Gold and read it all in one go, just couldn’t stop reading – it was so awesome. Even kept on reading when I should have been doing other stuff (but they where less fun so skipped them) ;P It could have been double the pages and I wouldn’t have lost interest and gotten tired of it (but then I love loooong books). The characters where so captivating and *real* (even though they where pure fantasy ^^) it was exciting to get to know them a little. I loved how they could be both tough and vulnerable, showing so much of their hearts to eachother. And the smexxing was wonderfully HOT. So yeah, enough of my babbling, I just loved it and wanted to let you all know. So when is your next colaboration coming? 😉 Hugs!!

I was so thrilled to see the cover for the book. I just kept staring at it…on my phone…because i was at work and having it on the screen would’ve been bad news 🙂
I’m so glad you enjoyed it! We do have another collab coming out in May (we think, it’s pretty tentative schedule right now) on Loose Id with a sexy firefighter and a crossdresser/actor. Very romantic comedy/farce.
Of course, I’m big on androgyny and crossdressing/genderqueer, so I like it, I hope others will too. It kind of depends on whether boys in stockings and Irish firefighters is your bag 🙂
B&G was totally awesome – besides the great story line your writing totally rocks C. It was more than a pleasure to read (even my boys had a tear in their eye). Hope to read more about Goldie and Jett (no pressure – lol). Keep writing C, we love you
Thank you so much! We don’t currently have any plans for Goldie and Jett, but we do have another collaboration involving a firefighter and a crossdresser coming up May-ish on Loose Id!
Sorry I’m a little late, but I wanted to find somewhere to tell you how much I loved this book. Like Gina, I’d love to see more of Goldie and Jett. You’ve created such wonderful characters that I’m sure most of us would like to read more about. I hope you will give it some consideration. 🙂
