So I never did post about this, though everyone around me can attest there was much jumping around and excitement. This is a real award to add to my awards page, not fanfiction (which is no less real, but there’s a lot of satisfaction that comes from winning for an original work!)
I’m so proud of this story and how it came out. It’s funny and goofy and over the top, patterned more after romcoms than literature. Even with Shakespeare my favorites are his farces, so that’s just how I roll. Er. Not that I’m anywhere near Shakespeare, just, you know, that’s my aspiration-ish.
Anyway. This is why I didn’t post. I have nothing but bumbling idiot things to say because each time I think about it, I go all bubbly-mush and undignified so just, you know, takeaway from it the one word that goes through my head each time I think about it: EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Okay, that’s not a word and is, in fact, just one letter repeated with insane frequency, but I stand behind it.
